Confused about how to enter your project on filmfreeway?
  • Check out our video here for step by step instructions on how to submit your project!
https://digifesttemecula.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Digital-Media-Festival-Temecula-CA-_-Art-Competition-Film-Festival-DigiFest®-Temecula-8-February-2023.mp4

When you first  create your account on Filmfreeway it will ask you to pick a project category for their own informational purposes, but Filmfreeway doesn’t have the exact same categories as Digifest. You need to go by this selection list:

  • If submitting videos/films that are narratives, documentaries, animation/stop motion, or music videos – Choose Filmfreeway’s film/video category
  • If submitting podcasts or music  – Choose Filmfreeway’s music/songwriting category
  • If submitting photography, fine art & illustration, or website design – Choose Filmfreeway’s Photography/Design category
  • If submitting a game design – Choose Filmfreeway’s VR/XR/Immersive

After you have created your account and uploaded your project, you can then go to the Digifest page on Filmfreeway and pick the exact Digifest category that matches your project (ie game, podcast, etc).
