Instructions: Please fill out the form in its entirety. A digital entry is anything that is created digitally or enhanced digitally.

Digital Entry Categories

Computer-developed which includes websites, graphic designs, comics, animation, games, music, photography, and digitally-enhanced fine art | illustration.

Film/Video/Photography which includes short films, music video, narrative or documentary movies (30 minutes or less), digital photos, and animation.

A competition entry is not considered valid until the entry form, correct entry fee, and entry project are all received by posted deadlines. All submissions to be made via Film Freeway. Click here to access the DigiFestR Temecula 2020 submission site.

The DigiFestR competition is open to ages 12 and up; the categories are as noted above. Then inside each category, it is further broken down for judging capacity by the following: 6th-12th grade Students, Amateurs, and Professionals. If you are 12 – 18 years old, and are enrolled in any kind of training educational program studying any form or visual & performing arts or digital technology or traditional k-12 schooling you may enter as a student. If you are 18 and older, an individual or a group of individuals not associated with a specific company, you can enter as an amateur or professional. If you are entering as a company, you must enter as a professional.

Terms & Conditions: DigiFestR  Temecula is an event put on by JDS Creative Academy, a 501c3 charitable nonprofit, with the mission of providing education, training, and a career pathway to enhance achievement in workforce development in industries of visual and performing arts including new media technology. The DigiFestR  competition is open to ages 12 and up; the categories are broken up into the following:.

Computer-developed which includes websites, graphic designs, comics, animation, games, music, special effects, and digitally-enhanced fine art.

Film/Video/Photography which includes narrative or documentary movies (30 minutes or less), digital photos, and animation.

Then inside each category, it will be further broken down for judging capacity by the following: 6th-12th grade Students, Amateurs, and Professionals. If you are 12 -18 years old, enrolled in any kind of training educational program studying any form or visual & performing arts or digital technology, or traditional k-12 schooling you may enter as a student. If you are 18 years or older, an individual or a group of individuals not associated with a specific company, you can enter as an amateur or professional. If you are entering as a company, you must enter as a professional.

Each entry will be viewed and evaluated by a member of the DigiFestR  judging committee. The DigiFestR  committee is comprised of industry professionals, community members, and JDS Creative Academy Board members. Each entry will be judged on a scoring matrix established by the JDS Creative Academy Board of Directors. Scoring matrixes will not be made public. Nominees will be notified by April 2, 2020. Winners will be announced at the awards banquet on April 19, 2019. Awards will consist of a variation of the following; scholarships, monetary compensations, and or plaque/trophy. The DigiFestR  judging committee, in collaboration with the JDS Creative Academy Board of Directors, has decision authority on which entry receives what type of award.

All payments to be made via FilmFreeway with the online form or call JDSCA 951-296-6715. Entries will be exhibited and/or available for screening even if it they are not nominated.
