Instructions: Please fill out the form in its entirety. A digital entry is anything that is created digitally or enhanced digitally.

Digital Entry Categories

Computer-developed which includes websites, graphic designs, comics, animation, games, music, special effects, and digitally-enhanced fine art.

Film/Video/Photography which includes narrative or documentary movies (30 minutes or less), digital photos, and animation.

A competition entry is not considered valid until the entry form, correct entry fee, and entry project are all received by posted deadlines. To pay by credit card please use the online form or call JDSCA 951-296-6715. Please mail payments, flash drives and CD/DVD’s to care of: JDS Creative Academy, 28069 Diaz Rd. Ste. D, E & F Temecula, CA 92590. Reference Project Title when submitting payments separate from online form and URL link.

The DigiFestTM competition is open to ages 12 and up; the categories are as noted above. Then inside each category, it is further broken down for judging capacity by the following: 6th-12th grade Students, Amateurs, and Professionals. If you are 12 – 18 years old, and are enrolled in any kind of training educational program studying any form or visual & performing arts or digital technology or traditional k-12 schooling you may enter as a student. If you are 18 and older, an individual or a group of individuals not associated with a specific company, you can enter as an amateur or professional. If you are entering as a company, you must enter as a professional.

Terms & Conditions: DigiFestTM Temecula is an event put on by JDS Creative Academy, a 501c3 charitable nonprofit, with the mission of providing education, training, and a career pathway to enhance achievement in workforce development in industries of visual and performing arts including new media technology. The DigiFestTM competition is open to ages 12 and up; the categories are broken up into the following:.

Each entry will be viewed and evaluated by a member of the DigiFestTM judging committee. The DigiFestTM committee will comprised of industry professionals, community members, and JDS Creative Academy Board members. Each entry will be judged on a scoring matrix established be the JDS Creative Academy Board of Directors. Scoring matrixes will not be made public. Nominees will be notified by April 6, 2019. Winners will be announced at the awards banquet on April 14, 2019. Awards will consist of a variation of the following; scholarships, monetary compensations, and or plaque/trophy. The DigiFestTM judging committee, in collaboration with the JDS Creative Academy Board of Directors, has decision authority on which entry receives what type of award.
